My overall cooking style is from scratch. I like to take raw ingredients and turn them into delicious homey and comforting dishes. I went to culinary school in France, so I have the ability to elevate cuisine when necessary, but typically like to make simple and delicious food for my clients. I can cook many staple American dishes and like to cook Mexican and Italian food. My specialty is Persian food and is something unique I offer that others may not be able to provide.

This was such a seamless and lovely experience -- having a fresh and delicious meal cooked in my kitchen was comforting and just the right level of experiential (I could chat with Sean and watch him cook when I wanted to, but I could also do work upstairs and didn't feel the need to stay in the kitchen). Sean made us a kale salad with confit garlic balsamic vinaigrette, toasted pine nuts, currants, and parmesan -- when I tell you that I've never had a better salad, it's true. The eggplant parmesan was also to-die-for (best I've ever had). And the chocolate mousse was a perfect night cap. Everyone at our dinner party loved all of the courses. Sean was extremely knowledgeable, flexible, friendly and warm. He brought some of his own equipment (very organized) and then asked me for anything else he needed upfront. He was willing to chat while cooking and walk me through what he was doing, but he was also good to do his own thing while I did work upstairs. I really enjoyed his company!
